Bangkok special market

Apart from the safety issue, this open market is pretty amazing. Due to the high speed of urbanization and the increase of human population, limited space has been a constant issue which is getting bigger and bigger. If you keep your mind open for creativity, you can always come up with a brilliant idea to explore your option.

Flip it

Girls are girls right? Just sell the products to them like the way we sell it to the rest of the population. Just make it cute and adorable. It is that easy. 3lying begs to differ. They believe that the marketing community is not giving what the young female customers want. To support their argument, 3lying took upon Project Flip. Project Flip is a voluntary project for girls between 15-23 years where they were asked to ‘flip’ ads if they consider the ads to be irrelevant and explain why they think that the ads are not reaching the targeted audience, them.

Quick info about JulS

I’m a cheery girl in my early twenties and have just recently graduated from university under the study of communication.

I’m currently living in The Hague but I commute everyday to Amsterdam due to my day job at an advertising agency.

I hail from a wonderfully warm tropical country of Indonesia so please kindly ignore my constant complaints about the Dutch weather.

I love good food but I have been trying to circumspect my indulgence as part of my new year’s resolution, although I still enjoy trying new menus every time I eat out.

I also love fashion so forgive me if there are many entries about that specific topic but I will try my best to balance out this blog.

I’m training to become a proper trend watcher hence the creation of this blog.

One of my life-long ambitions is to visit the North Pole before all the ice melts. It will be magnificent, don’t you think? (seeing the icy North Pole, not when all the ice has melted)

I’m also a closet geek but geek is the new cool so I’ll let my inner geek peek out once in a blue moon.

Welcome Post

Halo and welcome to JulS’ blog. We are here to chronicle and follow my journey from an intern to a full-fledged trend watcher. So buckle up and let’s go together into a (hopefully) fun rollercoaster adventure of my journey in the dizzying world of trend-watching/cool-hunting/trend-spotting. If you have any interesting news or links please do get in touch and share it with me :-)
